a5c7b9f00b A man tries to rescue a woman with a little help from his half brother. Following a ship wreck, a baby is rescued by a clan of Ninja warriors and raised by themone of their own. But Haru,he is called, never quite fits in, nor does he manage to make a worthy Ninja. However, the good-natured and persevering Haru, in his own bumbling way, and with some help from Gobei, manages to prove himself to be a winner in the end. The story line is good. The aim for most ninja movies is kill the villain and we saw it in this movie. This one is funny and good for persons who are sad or not in the mood. While Beverly Hills Ninja isn't a classic like Tommy Boy, it is a funny and fun movie to watch with just Chris Farley in the lead. Here, he plays a white guy who is to become the great white ninja, but first he must save a woman in America. Many funny parts and characters (Chris Rock has a good early role) make up for some flaws in the script. Farley has his last good film here. B+ But when the writers run out of ideas, they simply have Farley walk into a lamppost, or cop from old SNL skits.
